During a routine inspection
Individual 'recovery plans' were explained and discussed with people who use the service, including choices about treatment and support available. People said that all the staff were friendly and helpful.
People using the service were protected from the risk of abuse as staff had received training in the safeguarding of vulnerable adults. There were written instructions for staff to follow in order to report suspected abuse.
People using the service could be confident that their health and welfare needs would be met by staff who were appropriately qualified and trained to enable them to carry out their job.
There was an effective complaints system available. Comments and complaints people made were responded to appropriately.
