Our view of the service
Date of assessment: 24-29 November 2024. Voyager Family Health is an NHS GP practice located in Farnborough, Hampshire. At the time of our assessment there were approximately 19,500 people registered with the service. We carried out this assessment to follow up on concerns identified at our previous inspection. In October 2022 we had rated the service as requires improvement overall, and for the key questions safe, effective and well led. We assessed 3 key questions, safe, effective and well-led and have combined the scores for these areas with the scores from the last inspection. All key questions are now rated as good. The service had made improvements and is no longer in breach of regulations. The management of patients taking high-risk medicines and those patients with long term conditions were being appropriately monitored and there was an action plan in place to encourage patients to attend appropriate medicine reviews and have the required tests to ensure safe prescribing. Emergency medicines ensured safe care and treatment for patients. Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency safety alert were appropriately actioned.
