During a routine inspection

During our announced inspection we spoke with three office staff, three care support staff and we rang six people whose relatives used the service. We also looked at care plans of people who used the service, management policies, the results of recent surveys and staff files and training records.

People told us that the service they received was 'First Class', carer workers were 'very kind and patient'. One person described the service they received as 'Partners in care'. Staff we spoke with said that Managing Care were a good company to work for, very supportive and offered excellent training.

In this report the name of a registered manager appears who was not in post and not managing the regulatory activities at this location at the time of the inspection. Their name appears because they were still a Registered Manager on our register at the time.

During a routine inspection

We spoke with three members of staff in the office during the visit and contacted, by telephone, two carers employed by the agency, one relative and one person who uses the service.

The relative commented that they had received 'professional, well run, focused care'. The person who received care said 'they were very happy with the level of care received'. Both carers we spoke to felt they had enough training and support from the agency.
