During a routine inspection
On person who used the service told us, 'The home is very comfortable, I like my room, the food cannot be faulted, I can't find fault with the carers.' We talked with that person about activities he enjoyed. He told us, 'I never get bored here.'
Another person who used the service told us, 'I can't fault the home.' When we spoke with that person about activities at the home told us, 'Not everyone likes the same things.' She told us that she was bored and that, 'It's a break in the day to be able to talk with someone.'
Both people told us that about activities they had enjoyed, which included visits from a group of singers and indoor games.
A relative told us, 'My mother is getting exceptional care. I am delighted with the care she is receiving. The carers have got to know her needs and personality.'
Another relative told us, 'I'm really quite happy with the quality of care. The staff are lovely, very caring.'
Both relatives told us that the home kept them informed about the health and welfare of the people they visited. One said that they had been involved in their relative's care plan, 'From the word go.'
