During a routine inspection
We found there were suitable arrangements in place for obtaining, and acting in accordance with, the consent of people who lived at Trevean Gardens in relation to the care and treatment provided for them.
People experienced care, treatment and support that met their needs and protected their rights.
We saw the home was clean and welcoming. People who lived at the home were happy to assist with domestic tasks and took an active part in maintaining their home. The management operated effective systems which ensured appropriate standards of cleanliness and hygiene were adhered to.
Medications were managed safely and staff ensured people received their medication in a timely way and as per their prescriptions.
The home had an effective complaints system which identified, handled and responded appropriately to complaints and comments made by people who used the service.
