During a routine inspection
People experienced care, treatment and support that met their needs and protected their rights. A relative we spoke with told us, 'Staff know what they are doing and provide good, consistent care.'
People were protected from the risk of infection because appropriate guidance had been followed. Infection Control was included in induction training.
People using the service who told us, 'Staff are helpful and they know what they are doing.' New staff must complete all mandatory training before they can start to work on their own. Regular supervision meetings were held between the staff and the manager.
People who use the service, their representatives and staff were asked for their views about their care and treatment and they were acted on. A relative we spoke to said, 'My relative is supported and staff help my relative to pursue a broad range of interests.'
