During a routine inspection
People told us there was enough trained support workers to support them with their needs. One person told us 'my key worker (designated support worker) is helping me to do more things on my own and is very helpful. They help me with my finances - stay in control of my money'.
We saw that support workers were attentive to the needs of people and they responded to people's non verbal communication requests for assistance promptly. People were provided with choices, such as the activities that they participated in and the food and drinks that they preferred.
We saw that people who used the service were well groomed. This showed they were supported with their personal care needs which respected their dignity.
We received positive comments about the food and drinks provided in the home. One person said 'I help pick the meals for the week. They ask us what we want and we tell them, it tastes good'
People told us they liked their bedrooms and had personalised them with their belongings. One person said 'I am getting there, takes time to move it all in. I want to add more pictures and make it look nice'.
People we spoke with told us they felt safe and secure living in the home.
