During a routine inspection
People living in the home told us that their care plans are in a format which they find easy to read and understand.
We observed people living in the home making choices about their meals, who they sit with at meal times and where they choose to eat.
People told us they are talking to people such as social workers and advocates about where they want to live and who they want to live with.
We observed staff respecting people's wishes and communicating in a way people living in the home understand using a mixture of talking, signs, pictures and gestures.
