During a routine inspection
We found that people's care and welfare needs had been met. One person told us, 'I am very pleased that I am able to have my treatment here rather than at St Helier which is too far from my home'. People were involved in their care. One person told us, 'Yes I have a care plan and I know generally what's in it. I was involved in the development of the care plan so that's ok with me'. The person also told us, 'I have a named nurse who discusses my care and treatment with me. I also discuss my needs with my renal consultant and /or my haematology consultant. I am always kept properly informed of any changes'.
We found the service had followed the local authority adults safeguarding procedure to ensure the safety of people who used the service.
The service had a complaints policy and procedure for people who used the service or their representative to use if they felt the need to complain about the service. Complaints received had been dealt with appropriately.
