During a routine inspection
People's needs were assessed before they moved in to the home and regularly reviewed thereafter. We found that people's care plans were personalised and detailed. People's care was planned and delivered in such a way as to meet their individual needs. People were cared for in a clean and comfortable environment. The provider had procedures in place to minimise the risk and spread of infection.
Staff felt supported by the manager. We found that new staff received an appropriate induction and staff had annual appraisals. Staff received regular supervision during which their learning and development was planned.
We reviewed several records relating to people using the service, the staff and management of the service and found that the records were accurate and fit for purpose.
