We asked two people who used services if they could express their views, so far as they were able to do so, and if they were involved in making decisions about their care, treatment and support. They told us that they felt able to express their wishes and make their own decisions. We spoke with four people who used the service who told us they were happy with the care they received. One person told us, 'The staff are really nice and they look after me very well.'
Another person told us, 'The staff here are very good to me, they have made me feel so much better since I came here.'
Visitors to the home told us that the staff always managed their relative's health care well. One visitor told us, 'Since coming here my relative has received very good care. They always ensure that she has her walking frame so she does not try to walk unaided. All the staff have been so friendly and welcoming, they have time to discuss how she is and always telephone me with updates about her condition.'
Another visitor told us, 'They monitor my relative's health, today she was not well and they have called the doctor to come and see her. I see her care plans regularly and am satisfied with how she is cared for.'
