During a routine inspection
We also learned from people that they were satisfied with the way care was provided. These are some of the things people told us:
"I think it is wonderful here' The staff are very good."
"They are grand lasses and I have no complaints."
We saw in records that where staff were concerned about people being malnourished they took suitable steps to help people.
The service was based in a local office in Millom and this office was suitably set up to allow for good management of the operation.
We looked at how the service managed complaints and we found evidence to show that the manager dealt with both minor and major concerns appropriately. Several people told us that the manager visited them at home:
"I have had several visits from the manager just to make sure everything was going well."
No one we contacted had any complaints about the service.
We looked at a wide range of records kept in the service and found these to be generally secure, up-to-date and appropriate.
