During a routine inspection
People we spoke with were generally happy with the care and support that they received. They confirmed that they were consulted when their care needs were being assessed or reviewed. They said that they mainly had the same care worker, that staff came mostly on time and that they did what had been agreed in the care plan. When staff were running late, people said that they were contacted by the agency to inform them of this. One person said that they were now receiving rotas every week to let them know which member of staff was coming. They said that this was an improvement to the service.
People that we spoke with said that they felt safe with the staff who supported them. Most said that they had not made a complaint but one person who had done so said that the management team had responded quickly to their concerns. Another person who contacted us said that their complaint with the agency had been ongoing for some time and had yet to be resolved
