During an inspection in response to concerns
People using the service told us that the care and support they received was in accordance with care plans that they had agreed with Allied Healthcare. They told us that copies of their care plans were available in their homes and that care workers completed daily records in log books. They also told us that they were 'happy' with the service that they received and that care workers were 'very good' and 'excellent'.
One relative of a person using the service said, 'The girls are brilliant, the package of care works very well'.
A social care professional told us that she had no huge concerns with the service provided to her client and that Allied Healthcare responded positively if she raised any concerns with them.
Some people told us that their care workers were always prompt and that they always knew the identities beforehand of the care workers who provided the help and care they required. Some others told us that there had been occasions when care workers were late and that their regular carer was not always replaced when they were unavailable or they were not always given the details of a replacement care worker.
