During a routine inspection
Care plans were seen to contain detailed information about individual needs, likes, dislikes and preferences. Not all staff felt that risk assessments enabled them to offer consistent support.
People who received a service were supported by a well trained and mostly well supported
staff team. Some staff told us that they were not always confident to share concerns and information.
Overall people were protected because staff were confident to recognise and report abuse. However not all staff thought that action was taken to safeguard people when concerns were raised. We saw that systems did not effectively support staff to monitor money and this had left people vulnerable.
We were told that people would be confident to speak out if they had a worry or complaint. We saw that action was taken to investigate complaints however some issues raised by staff were not recorded as complaints. The manager took action following our inspection in relation to concerns raised during our information gathering process.
