During an inspection looking at part of the service
People received the care and support they required to improve their health and well-being. Care records were written in enough detail to provide clear guidance to staff members.
People received the care and support they required to improve their health and well-being. Care records were written in enough detail to provide clear guidance to staff members.
People told us they felt well cared for and that they received the treatment they expected. However, we found evidence during our inspection that where risks to people were identified, an associated plan of care was not always put in place to help staff provide appropriate care and support to people.
We saw that systems were in place to ensure people were protected from the unsafe use and management of medicines.
Staff members we spoke with told us they felt supported and well trained to be able to provide care support to people living at The Crown Rest Home.
We saw that there was an effective system in place to assess and monitor the quality of services provided by The Crown Rest Home.
asked about any concerns or worries, we were told that people would feel confident about
talking to staff and felt they would be listened to.
We were told that the home is the best around and that people feel safe. Everyone told us
they are treated with dignity and respect, one person stated that some staff do 'that bit
extra and make us feel like family'. They also said that they enjoy talking to staff about
their family and children and feel this gives them an added interest.
