During a routine inspection
People told us they were involved in decisions about their needs and staff keep them informed. One person told us about their admission and how they had been able to choose which room they wanted.
People told us they enjoyed their meals. On the day we visited several of the people we talked with were getting ready to go out to a restaurant for lunch.
People commented on high quality of the country house style environment they live in. One person said they like to sit in the conservatory so they can enjoy the views over the surrounding countryside.
We received mixed comments about the availability of staff. Two out of the nine people we had conversations with said they had to wait for staff to attend to them and this was worse in the afternoons. They described staff as being 'rushed'.
