During a routine inspection
Staff members were described as 'pleasant' and 'very caring'. One person commented that the best thing about the home was 'being looked after'. We found that staff members were mostly attentive to people's needs, but support was not always being provided in a safe and effective way. The arrangements in the home meant that some people's privacy and dignity were not always well protected.
There were systems in place for checking the quality of service that people received. However these were not effective in ensuring that good standards were maintained in all areas of the home.
