Most people told us they were happy with the care they received, and felt that their needs were being met. Some people said that they felt that aspects of the care could be better. Comments received from people included '' the staff care for me very well, everything is good here, the staff are very nice and helpful but some can talk down to you, it's hard getting a bath sometimes''.
People able to express their views told us they had agreed to the care and treatment they received. Relatives said that they were involved in decisions in their family member's best interests, where they were unable to make decisions.
Most people told us they enjoyed their meals, which included a choice of home cooked foods. People also said that they received enough to eat and drink.
We saw that people's meals included a choice and variety of foods. People were supported to have a well balanced diet and had access to regular drinks and snacks. People where required were assisted eat their food and drink.
Arrangements were in place to ensure that peoples' medicines were handled safely and properly. Most people we spoke with told us that they received their medicines at the times they needed them.
