During a routine inspection
People we spoke with told us they were happy living in the home and they were able to make choices about their daily living and how they wanted staff to support them. One person told us, 'I like living here and I like my room'.
The provider assessed people's capacity to make day-to-day decisions and what type of decisions may need to be made in their 'best interest'. Care plans were personalised to each individual's needs and detailed how staff should work with people to meet those needs. Activities were individualised and relevant to people's needs.
There were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff to meet people's needs. Care was provided in an environment that was safe, well maintained and met people's needs. The provider sought the views of people's families and visiting professionals and used these comments to improve and develop the service.
