During a routine inspection
We reviewed two people’s care records and found they contained the information staff required to provide care in a way which met people’s individual needs. People had health action plans in place to ensure that if they needed to be admitted to hospital staff would have the information to provide them with appropriate care and support that meets their individual needs.
We were shown around the building and checked maintenance records for fire, water, gas and electrical safety. The building had been well maintained and this meant people were protected against the risks of unsafe or unsuitable premises.
We checked the recruitment records for three members of staff. There was evidence appropriate checks had taken place to ensure people were suitable to work within the home. There was a complaints system available.
