During a routine inspection
We spoke with a person and her daughter who visited two to three times per week. When we asked about the standards of care the daughter said, 'Quite happy. Care is very good, bath or shower most days.' 'They fetch the doctor straight away'. The person using the service said, 'He comes pretty quick'.
Another relative said, 'The care is excellent'.
We asked a person who was residing at the home the about the call system and how staff responded to it. She said, 'all system not a problem, staff are very diligent about night checks, especially if unwell'.
One person said about staff, 'They are very kind'. She also told us that staff made regular checks on her at night time, especially if she was unwell.
A person using the service commented about care workers ability to respond when asked to assist her to the toilet, 'Sometimes you have to wait for ages'.
A daughter of another person said, 'Kept waiting to go to the loo, otherwise care is excellent'.
