During a routine inspection
People said they enjoyed living at the home. Comments included:
'Very happy here, no complaints.'
'I have really enjoyed my stay and will miss them when I go home.'
'They are getting to know (name of person) and her needs.'
'No complaints at all, very clean, plenty to do and I would speak up if I wasn't happy.'
People said they liked the staff. They were comfortable with staff and had a good rapport with them. They appeared to get on well. People said they had enough staff to support them. They said that staff responded promptly when they pressed their buzzers.
People also said the staff looked after them well and treated them with dignity and respect. Comments included:
'We are attended to very promptly, day or night.'
'The care is alright.'
'Very satisfied with my care.'
People said they had enough to do and enjoyed the activity at the home. They said they enjoyed the bingo, exercise classes and musical entertainers who come in to the home. One person said they felt a bit isolated in their room and would like to see more of staff, popping in for a chat.
