During a routine inspection
People said that they knew who their key worker was and that they had a choice about this. They said that they saw their doctor promptly when needed and that overall they felt well cared for. People with whom we spoke felt that the staff had time for them and that they were not 'brushed aside'. They said that they felt 'safe and comfortable' at the home. People also spoke positively about the activities offered in the home.
People with whom we spoke were positive about the food, saying that there was plenty of choice and it was hot and there was always plenty to eat. They said that the accommodation was good and that the home was kept clean.
People said that the staff were 'kind, helpful and friendly' They also said that they would not want to live anywhere else and it was nice and that they felt at home.
People living in the home said that they went to residents' meetings and that people were comfortable to raise any issues. They said that they knew how to raise concerns and saw the manager a lot and that they could discuss anything with her.
