During a routine inspection
During the inspection, we spoke with the team leader as the registered manager was on leave. We spoke with two members of staff and with five people who used the service.
We found that consent was obtained from people who used the service in relation to their care and treatment. The provider consistently acted in accordance with people's wishes.
We found that the care and treatment needs of people who used the service were met.
One person told us: 'They [staff] don't judge you. They are friendly. They give you lots of information. They explained everything to me, the drugs testing and the assessment. I have recommended them to friends'.
We found that there were effective recruitment and selection procedures in place.
We found that records were accurate, fit for purpose and met the needs of people who used the service.
