During a routine inspection
We found that before people received any care or treatment they were asked for their consent and the provider acted in accordance with their wishes. People who used the service told us that their recovery programme had been explained to them and they had consented to their treatment. They also told us that the service was good at working with other agencies. One person said, 'It's the best thing that has happened to me; they helped with housing, and debts.'
People who used the service were protected from the risk of abuse, because the provider had taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening. One person told us that they felt safe when visiting the service.
There were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff to meet people's needs. One person told us, 'There are always staff available, you can just pop in and talk to someone.'
People's personal records including medical records were accurate and fit for purpose.
