During a routine inspection
We saw that people were involved in the decisions about the care they were provided with. We saw that the staff interacted with people in a caring, respectful and professional manner.
We looked at the care records of three people who used the service and found that people experienced care, treatment and support that met their needs and protected their rights. We saw that the provider worked with other professionals who were involved in people's care to ensure that they were provided with a consistent service. We found that people were supported to take their medication at the prescribed times.
The service had systems in place to address people's complaints and comments.
There were sufficient staff numbers who were trained to meet the needs of the people who used the service.
The manager told us that they were planning to close the service and two of the people and staff would be moved to another of the provider's services. The third person's placing authority were looking for an alternative placement for them to move to.
