During an inspection in response to concerns
During our visit we spoke with six people using the service and two visitors. All of the people we spoke to were pleased with the care they received at the home.
One person who had recently moved into Boniface House said she had been well supported in her move. She showed us her room which had been personalised with soft furnishings, photographs and pictures and said she was looking forward to having her own armchair brought from home.
The people we spoke to said they looked forward to the weekly exercise sessions and listening and joining in with musicians and singers who visit Boniface House on a regular basis.
One relative said they were unhappy with the quality of the laundry as her fathers clothing was heaviliy stained. Another relative said she was concerned for the safety of her mother who had recently fallen out of her bed and sustained severe bruising to her face.
