During an inspection in response to concerns
We spoke with six people who told us they liked the home and the staff who cared and supported them. One commented that the staff were all 'lovely'. Another person said they had 'no complaints' and were 'quite happy here'. They told us they had a choice of food and could always change their mind about what they wanted. Another person described a staff member as 'gold'.
Some people were unable to talk with us because of their care needs. We observed that in general staff were observant and considerate when delivering their care and support. There was good positive interaction with staff, although we observed that the environment did not create a stimulating environment for people living with dementia.
