During a routine inspection
We found that people were happy with the support they received. One person we spoke with told us 'I get the support I need from both my support workers and the office. They support me in the way I want to be supported'. Another person told us 'They look after me well, everything is fine'.
We saw that people were asked for consent and given choices and chances to make their own decisions about their support. Staff were appropriately recruited and undertook a detailed induction at the start of their employment. Staffing levels were well managed and closely monitored.
There were various opportunities for people to give feedback and the quality of the support was monitored in different ways to ensure that it met with the satisfaction of all those using the service. Where areas for improvements were identified, action was taken that involved everyone and this was well managed. The complaints system was effective and documentation was detailed and accurate.
