During a routine inspection
Before patients had any tests conducted they were asked for their consent. We saw the provider acted in accordance with their wishes. A patient told us, 'they ask a few questions and l signed a form'. This was in response to our question about their consent to an MRI test that had been undertaken.
Risk assessments were carried out before patients underwent an MRI test. A patient told us, 'It was quite safe in there' and 'they gave me an injection and told me it was safe'.
Staff we spoke with were knowledgeable regarding their roles and responsibilities and the needs of people who used the service. A patient told us, 'everyone was efficient and helpful'.
Records were kept securely and could be located in a timely manner when needed. The provider had a system, which ensured timely and convenient access to images, interpretations, and related data.
