During a routine inspection
People told us that they liked living at The Old Vicarage. People felt well supported and cared for. One person told us that staff, "Look after me". People were able to have contact with their families, with staff support when necessary.
We saw that people were offered choices about how their care was delivered and how they spent their time. We observed staff being kind and courteous towards people.
Staff felt well supported to do their jobs. Staff told us that they liked working at The Old Vicarage. They said that there was always a senior member of staff or the manager available to offer advice and support.
The service provided a very good standard of accommodation and living for people.
The service had a complaints system in place.
Recruitment procedures made sure that the people working at the home were suitable.
