Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
You must not accept any new packages of care without the prior written permission of the Care Quality Commission. This includes accepting increases to existing packages of care and re-commencing packages of care.
Within 14 days of this condition taking effect, the Registered Provider must conduct audits in relation to (but not limited to) the following:
a. Compliance with the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
b. Infection control.
c. Risk management.
d. Medicines.
e. Governance systems.
f. Training.
g. Safe recruitment.
h. Any other areas the Registered Provider determines is needed.
Within 14 days of this condition taking effect, the Registered Provider must submit a report detailing what action has been taken to comply with the above condition. On the first Monday of every month thereafter, the Registered Provider must send to the Care Quality Commission a report outlining the outcomes of their monthly audits. This report must summarise audit findings, the improvement actions to be taken, who is responsible for these and timescales for completion.
You must inform the CQC of any changes to the contractual arrangements you have with the external consultant you have engaged. Changes to the contractual arrangements with the external consultant will include (but are not limited to) no longer engaging the services of the external consultant, the external consultant reducing the number of days it attends the registered provider, if the contract is terminated for any reason, or if the external consultant does not fulfil its contractual obligations with the registered provider. Notification should be confirmed to the CQC at least 7 days before the changes take effect or in the event the changes take effect with a notice period of less than 7 days, as soon as reasonably practical before the changes take effect.
