During a routine inspection
Three out of the four people we spoke with told us they were happy with the service provided. One person told us the time of check ups has decreased and was not as thorough as it used to be. Other comments were “the dentist is aware that I am nervous, they reassure me and are gentle”, “at least I am with a dentist that I am happy with, I can now get through the door” when they visit this practice.
We found the provider had methods of gaining feedback from people to actively improve its service. The practice had procedures in place and had trained its staff to deal with medical emergencies. The provider had taken action to identify and prevent abuse from happening and also followed appropriate guidance in regards to infection control procedures. Staff told us they felt well supported and completed training so they were up to date with current guidance to enable them to treat people safely.
