During a routine inspection
We found that people who used the service were involved in the planning of their treatment through consultation with the dentist. People were informed of the proposed treatment and had agreed to it.
People that used the service at Eccleshall Dental Practice told us they were happy with the quality of care being delivered. One person told us; "This is a family friendly dentist".
We found that the service had not had to employ new staff for many years but there was a recruitment procedure in place for when the need may arise.
We looked to see if the service was clean and working within current guidelines in relation to infection control. We found the service had systems in place to ensure that good hygiene standards were maintained.
We found that the service had several tools for monitoring the quality of the service being delivered and to work towards continuous improvement.
