During a routine inspection
We looked at the treatment records for five people and saw that these included signed treatment plans. Medical history was also reviewed. We spoke with three people who used the service. One person told us, "It's a pleasure to go, [the dentist] is fantastic.'
The service had effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection. This included detailed policies, cleaning checklists and good staff awareness of infection control.
Staff told us that they felt supported by the provider and their clinical professional development was up to date.
There was an effective complaints procedure in place that people who used the service were aware of. We saw that any complaints had been dealt with appropriately.
