During a routine inspection
We observed the staff and saw and heard them treat people with dignity and respect. People told us they were offered choices of appointments and treatment and consent was obtained from them before treatment commenced. The doors to rooms were closed when treatment was taking place. The staff told us they carried out full mouth assessments and discussed all necessary treatment options with people so they could make an informed decision. People who use the service confirmed this.
People were greeted and escorted to and from the treatment room and the treatment and charges were fully explained. Staff explained and demonstrated how they decontaminated and sterilised equipment after use. We saw that equipment was serviced and maintained in accordance with the manufacturers' guidelines.
