We found this practice was providing caring services in accordance with the relevant regulations and had taken into consideration appropriate guidance.

Kindness, compassion and dignity
Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion. Patients said staff were professional, courteous and considerate. Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected. We were provided with a patient survey; the results of the survey and the Friends and Family test were on display in the waiting room for patients to see. The results of the last survey recorded that 96% of respondents were extremely likely to recommend the practice, 85% were satisfied that their views are sought, 95% were satisfied with the care and treatment provided and 90% were satisfied with the booking of appointments. The Friends and Family test results (12 respondents) stated that 11 patients were extremely likely to recommend the practice to friends and family and 1 patient was likely to recommend to friends and family.
Staff were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights. Staff were aware of the importance of privacy and confidentiality. Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles. Leaders described how they supported the wellbeing of staff.
