During a routine inspection
One person told us, 'they look after us well here but I wish there was more that we could do' and another told us 'staff always know what to do to help me.' We spoke with two people in their bed rooms they both told us they thought the care was good and they were made comfortable.
Two visitors told us, 'We are quite happy with the care here'. Another relative told us, 'I think the care is very good.'
We observed people being moved in wheel chairs, using walking frames or being hoisted. We saw people were assisted to do so safely. People who use the service, staff and visitors were not always protected against the risks of unsafe or unsuitable premises as we cannot be sure that it was always adequately maintained.
Representative's of people at the home told us they thought the staff were good and made every attempt to meet people's needs. Two relative's who spoke with us told us they had no complaints about the care provided at the home. Three people living at the home also agreed with this comment.
