During a routine inspection
There were processes to assess each person's suitability prior to any treatment. A detailed medical and dental history was taken and reviewed at each appointment. Staff had received professional development which included life support training. Emergency equipment was available. There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection and staff had been trained in infection control.
There were systems in place to monitor the quality of service provided. People who use the service were encouraged to provide feedback and any concerns would be listened to. Staff met with each other regularly to discuss the overall running of the service and had clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
