During a routine inspection
We were told that established ethical values were applied in determining the decision to offer treatment, which meant people would not be excluded if they met the criteria. People were given information on how to care for themselves following treatment to reduce the risk of any complication and to aid a speedy recovery.
Surgical procedures were conducted in a clean safe environment and people were cared for by trained staff that had been recruited properly and were of good character.
The management of risk was very good and there was an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people received. Written comments people had made included, 'After this procedure I have been able to take more exercise'I am more active and enjoying life more'. 'I am impressed with the overall results', 'Excellent service. I would definitely recommend it to someone else'. 'The service and treatment were excellent'. And, 'The clinic is a calm environment and I felt at ease with Dr West and care and kindness of a very caring nurse'.
