During a routine inspection
Three out of four relatives thought that the carers had sufficient time to meet the needs of their relative. One person stated that the staff would not leave if there was any aspect of care not carried out. One person felt that there was not enough time allocated and that on occasions a door had been left unlocked because they felt that the staff had been rushed. We asked what was the best thing about the service. One relative said '' Reliability that someone will come, even if a little late or a different carer.''
Following completion of the Annual Quarterly Service Framework Review by Wigan Social Services any identified actions have now been achieved and the provider continues to develop the Annual Development Business plan.
