During a routine inspection
We saw that staff interacted with people who used the service in a friendly, respectful and professional manner. People told us they felt respected by staff and were fully involved in the decisions about their dental care and treatment. One person said, "(Dentist) has a nice way about (dentist), I feel very calm." Another person told us, "They always tell me what I need doing."
We found that the provider had systems in place to monitor and assess the service provided. People's comments and views were listened to and acted upon.
We found that the service was clean and hygienic throughout. People told us that the waiting and treatment areas were always clean and tidy. One person said, 'Always looks clean.' Another person said, 'I have never had cause for concern about the cleanliness.'
We found that there were sufficient staff numbers who were provided with appropriate continuous professional development to meet the needs of the people who used the service.
