During a routine inspection
Each new patient's medical history was checked prior to treatment and people were offered choices of treatment and were given information about what would then be involved, the risks and benefits and the likely costs.
There were suitable processes for staff training and professional development.
There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection. Staff had been trained in infection control and for emergency situations.
The practice had systems to review and monitor the quality and safety of the service provided. This included seeking feedback from people and auditing practice.
