During a routine inspection
People received sufficient information about the services provided and their individual treatment options to enable them to make a decision about treatment. A detailed medical history was taken for each person and discussed during the appointment. There were suitable arrangements in case of a medical emergency and staff had received life support training.
There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk of infection. Staff were able to describe the decontamination process to us and provided evidence to show that checks were carried out on all aspects of infection control and prevention.
Staff received suitable training and were registered with their professional bodies. Their performance was appraised. There were quality monitoring systems in place which included audit, risk assessment and review of the service.
