During a routine inspection
We were told that the carers' role was to support and encourage people to maintain as much independence as possible. We heard that people felt comfortable with the carers. One person told us 'my carers are very good I feel really at home.'
People told us they felt safe using this service and knew what to do if they had any concerns. They had all met the manager and were confident about talking to them if there were any issues.
We saw there were daily diaries completed by the carers which demonstrated they understood the support to be provided. We read that carers took action when there were any concerns about people's support. We were told by one person who used the service 'I am very happy because I have my independence but there is someone around if I need it."
