The service is shown as having two registered managers in this report. This is because Sandra Eden has moved to another position within the company but has yet to submit a formal notification to us.

We found that people who used the service had consented to their agreed treatment and recovery plans.

Care, treatment and support were based on people's individual needs. A person who used the service said, "I can't tell you how good they have been with me".

Sandon Road provided a clean and hygienic environment. Clinical rooms were clean and tidy.

There were sufficient suitably qualified and skilled staff to meet people's needs.

The provider had systems in place to monitor and assess the quality of the service provided.

We found that the provider supported people on their journey to recovery. The provider worked closely with other agencies and professionals in order to support people with other needs including any social needs they might have.

Care and support was planned and delivered in a person centred way, taking into account people's individual needs and circumstances. A person told us, "They know me really well especially my key worker."

The robust systems in place helped to protect people who used the service from harm and people were safeguarded from abuse. The staff we spoke with knew how to raise concerns and make referrals in order to protect vulnerable adults and children.

Staff were carefully selected to work for the service and they felt that the provider supported them in their job roles. A staff member told us, "We are very well supported here with our training." There was a comprehensive staff training and development programme in place. This helped to ensure that staff had the skills necessary to be able to understand and meet the needs of the people who used the service.
