During a routine inspection
Patients commented favourably about cleanliness: 'The cleanliness is good, especially within the surgery,' 'I think it is always very clean,' and 'Cleanliness is perfectly all right.' A relative told us, 'Cleanliness is fine.'
Patients spoke positively about the staff: 'The receptionists have been very helpful and have tried their best to explain things,' 'The dentist is nice and the staff are nice,' 'The staff are always very approachable and not off hand at all,' and 'The staff have been very helpful.' A relative said, 'The staff are very good and very friendly.'
The provider checked the quality of the service. Patients were asked to complete surveys and were supported if they wished to make a complaint. One patient commented, 'I have just filled in the survey,' and another patient said, 'I saw the questionnaire to fill in.' A relative told us, 'We have completed the survey and we submitted positive comments.' The provider had made arrangements to monitor and improve the practice.
