During a routine inspection
They said they were happy, well supported and well cared for. They said they did not need much help with personal care. Staff helped them with other things such as their medicines. They were supported doing the things they liked to do and this made them 'happy.' They attended a college course each weekday which they said they 'loved.' The enjoyed going out to clubs and discos and liked socialising with their friends.
They told us they felt safe. If they had any concerns or were worried they could speak with staff. They liked the staff and named two staff who they said were their 'best carers.' Staff helped them do the things they liked to do and supported them both in and out of the home.
They discussed their care and support each day with staff. They felt able to talk with staff about any issue; they always listened to them. They were happy living at the home. They said 'I don't want to move from here.'
