During a routine inspection

We spoke with four patients during our visit to the dental practice. All had been with the practice for many years and described the dentist as 'very good'. One said 'you will not find any problems here'. Another commented on how 'clean it always is'. Patients who used the dental practice told us they were very happy with the service provided. They felt they were given plenty of information about their treatment which they said was always explained to them. They said the dentist asked for their consent before carrying out any procedure. All four patients said they found it easy to get an appointment when they wanted one and usually did not have to wait long before being seen. We were told staff were very friendly and patients felt they were always treated with respect.

Patient's who used the service understood the care, treatment and support choices available to them. They experienced effective, safe and appropriate care, treatment and support which meet their needs and protected their rights. The provider had effective systems in place which ensured patients were cared for in a clean and hygienic environment with an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service patients received. Patients were cared for by staff who were supported to deliver care and treatment safely and to an appropriate standard.
